For Immediate Release: First Church of the Gospel Ministry Announces the Passing of Bishop Dr. Davy Ray Kendrick and Continuation of Ministry Operations BUCYRUS, Ohio – First Church of the Gospel Ministry announces with deep sorrow the passing of its beloved Bishop, Dr. Davy Ray Kendrick, who departed this life on January 11, 2025. Throughout decades of service, he touched countless lives through his preaching, mentorship, songwriting, and leadership. His influence extended far beyond Bucyrus, Ohio, reaching individuals and ministries around the world. Following a period of declining health and recovery from a stroke, Dr. Kendrick passed peacefully on January 11, 2025.
